On September 26 of this year, the Blickinsfreie team together with professional surfers will embark on a three-week adventure through the Caucasus Eurasia with a mission to surf the Caspian Sea just north of Baku, Azerbaijan. Fusing the intentions to expose new surf territory with a fever for adventure and foreign land, our mission is to deliver a compelling story to an audience of core surf enthusiasts on a global level.
Besides being a movie project the idea involves a unique charity action which ensures the trunks of our busses filled with free clothing for the poor people in the countries we are going to visit.

The three-week journey, set to be a documentary through a tri-media production of video, photography and text, will take this team through the ancient and exotic regions of Turkey, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. We will find and follow exotic surf spots along the Black Sea and Caspian Sea, while inter-twining surf sessions with adventure to create our story. Our footage will capture unique encounters from cultures and characters dripping with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities at our fingertips. A selection of professional surfers will join as fully motivated athletes ready to paddle into new waters and participate in our featured mission with strong and committed intentions. Because we are always aiming to do something good with our projects, the charity action ensures a free clothing for the poor people in places we pass in Georgia or Armenia. At the same time we raise a great public interest for the project while its a great addition to the story of the documentary as well - Professional surf athletes on a charity surf adventure to the Middle East.

Visual media output will be widespread and includes a 4 - 6 episode documentary series of 8 – 10 minutes each. These episodes will be distributed on core boardsport and lifestyle websites on an international level. We are currently in talks with VBS.TV. Furthermore there will be a 26-minute TV show ready to be distributed worldwide on channels like Fuel.TV, Extreme Channel and many more of our regular distributors.

In addition we will produce a stunning photography report including a unique blog journal and compelling storyline that will cover this adventure with clever, creative and absorbent text. We aim to share our story in both print and online surf media worldwide.

As a tightly knit and devoted team, we are currently seeking sponsorships to help fund our three-week excursion from September 26 to October 16.

The whole concept of production will be as innovative and modern as possible. We will work with new ways of crowd funding like www.kickstarter.com, www.indiegogo.com or www.startnext.de. Very soon this project will be available on these platforms and visitors can start supporting our project.

There are various levels of sponsorships to satisfy all needs of modern sponsoring, and agreements are negotiated individually.

- Sponsors should consider their ambitious and adventurous athletes, soft and hard goods to pad our needs as a loyal surf team and energetic travel team.  

- We seek automobile sponsorship for transportation and navigation equipment for our three-week trip.

- To jumpstart our incentive and commitment, Blickinsfreie.de has released a donation fundraiser to encourage sponsorship if monetary support is preferred.
