SLOVAKI A TRUE MOVIE ABOUT SNOWBOARDING is the second movie out of our eastern European snowboard documentaries.

The movie is documenting the small but also fine snowboard scene of Slovakia while showing the problems young snowboarders in former communist Slovakia have to deal with. Missing snow parks or long distances to travel to Austria make it really hard to progress in the sport they love.

With professional snowboarders from Poland, France and Hungary, Blickinsfreie goes on a journey through the mountains of Slovakia while meeting up with locals, experiencing bad snow conditions and also injuries.

The movie makes clear that snowboarding is more than just 50 meters far jumps and the best conditions we know out of regular snowboard movies. It is more about the passion behind it which makes you go out every day even in worst conditions trying to make the best out of it and live it.
